There are two shuttle services both going to Milano Stazione Centrale. We generally use the Milan Shuttle, but have used the other service, as well. You buy tickets at a sportello (ticket window) or go to uscita (exit) 2 and buy directly from the bus drivers. Make sure the bus is going to Milano Stazione Central because some shuttles have different destinations.

You can also take the train directly to Milano Centrale. We've never used this mode, but many people do. We prefer the shuttle.

A great hotel located about 400 meters from the station is the Hotel Berna, located on Via Napo Torriano. We've stayed here many, many times and can highly recommend the property. You can cross reference it on trip advisor.com, which highly ranks the hotel. It serves the best breakfast in Milano, the place is extremely clean, and the staff is first rate.
