We are staying in Vico Equense. Our rental appears to be a bit away from the center of town. Does anyone know anything about the local bus routes there. I want to know if it will be easy for us to get into town...it seems like it will be too far to walk.

We took the Curreri Viaggi bus from Sorrento to Napoli Capodichino airport a year ago March, and it passed through Vico Equense. Unless I'm mistaken, from what I observed there's the main road with the center of town, and a few little roads branching off either going up or down that no way could handle a bus.
However, the town looks absolutely wonderful with spectacular views, maybe the best on that side of the peninsula. Let us know what you find out!
Once you get into town, there's the station for the Circumvesuvian that will get you to Sorrento in 11 minutes.
