Bus out of Siena

We are taking a bus from Siena to Castellina in Chianti. Can anyone tell me, is it the same bus schedule 7 days a week. Should I worry about traveling on a Sunday?

Someone will help find the schedule but I know for Siena to Florence it is NOT the same and there are fewer buses on Sunday.

Bus #125 does not run on Sundays. See schedules at http://www.tiemmespa.it/index.php/Viaggia-con-noi/Orari-e-linee/Siena/Extraurbano and click the link at the bottom to see more bus numbers, if needed.

Note that train schedules (which have plenty of Sunday service) are confusing the issue for me. They are showing trains that take only 15 minutes and using the station name "Castellina in Chianti," however the location served is actually the town that's called Castellina Scalo on Google Maps, 12 km away. I think that's not the location you want. But if you end up there, the same bus runs through it.

You should really go there on a weekday because buses are really infrequent on Sunday (if running at all in some routes).

An even smarter option is to rent a vehicle and drive. It's not difficult at all. It's a regular 2 lane highway, kind of curvy but with very limited traffic, especially on weekdays (on Sunday there are a few more cars of people visiting the Chianti).
