Bus or train Florence to Montepulciano and Montepulciano to Rome

I'm trying to figure the best way to get from Florence to Montepulciano and then from Montepulciano to Rome. Anyone with recommendations? Thank you.

Train from FIRENZE to CHIUSI-CHIANCIANO (located in Chiusi)

Then bus from Chiusi to Montepulciano:

(click on bus lines FT4 A (going) and FT4 R (return). To show all lines click on "Mostra Altri" (show more) button.

To go to Roma you do the reverse. But at the Chiusi station you take a train going south to Rome.
