Has any one taken the bus(ACTV) to the airport as early as 5am. Our flight to Brussels is at 6.55 am. Being that the trip is 20 minutes is 1.5 hours enough time. Would the ATVO be better? Do they leave early from Pizzalle Roma as well.Also I know that the bus schedules change but cannot even find the postings for now. We are leaving Venice June 2nd.
Any help you would be appreciated.

Here's the ATVO schedule http://www.atvo.it/allegati/aeroporti/linea_35_dal_29.10.2017_al_24.03.20188988.pdf. As you see, the earliest is at 4:20, which would get there just before the airport opens (4:45).

In October I used the aforementioned earliest ATVO bus (04:20) for a 06:30 flight and that worked out fine for me. We arrived at the airport at about 04:40, and I had more than enough time after clearing security to enjoy a final caffe and cornetto from one of the cafes before my flight boarded.

Marco Polo is a small airport. Whether the bus or the boat is better depends a lot on where you are staying.

Consider taking a water taxi (100 or so euro). It is a fun trip, done at your convenience, and a nice way to say goodbye to arguably the most unique and beautiful city in the world. You say "our" and the cost includes whoever and their luggage. They will pick you up at your hotel, or the closest canal stop they can get to. I found it very, very memorable.

Thank you all for replying. Ibsig thank so much for the schedule. I noted that the schedule changes at the end of March so will check the website for updates.
Chani have been to Venice 5 times but always by car or train and have flown out of Marco Polo once before but never this early.
Have seen your postings a lot on this site and wish you more safe travels.
