hi have been debating train or bus from rome to sulmona - looks like bus is best option but cannot find any where that lists the times the bus leaves from rome that is in ENGLISH...have no Italian language skills.
Have been to arpaonline.it but it's in Italian. Any ideas?

How about checking either RS phrasebook or online for the worrds for departure and arrival? Also, why would you need English to figure out TIME?

Roz: Looked at the arpaonline.it website. There are 7 daily buses from Rome Tiburtina station to Sulmona, leaving at 08:45, 12:00, 15:00, 17:50, 19:00, 20:30 and 21:15, and arriving in Sulmona about 2 hours later. Only one bus, the last one, runs on Sunday. To view the schedule yourself, go to the website and click on Orari delle Corsi at top of webpage and then on the Scanno-Roma bus link partway down the next page. Buses from Rome to Sulmona are listed in the 2nd grouping (just page down) in the section that begins Partenze da Roma (departures from Rome). Metro line B takes you to Tiburtina station where you can buy your bus ticket at the ticket window. Some of the employees speak english.
