Are there buses from the Palermo Airport that go directly to Trapani, or do you have to go to the city center bus station of Palermo to board? I see this online, but I am not understanding the stops. Looking to travel on a Saturday in December after 12 noon.

You're on the right page but as departure you have to choose Aeroporto (Palermo) which is at the top under the letter A and not down under P with the other Palermo stops. Yes there are direct buses 12.50, 13.50 etc.

Yes, you can take a bus directly from the airport to Trapani. Choose the Trapani stop that is closest to your destination.
