I'm flying home from Italy in a few days - am currently in Padua/Padova and will be flying out of Marco Polo airport. Before leaving the US, I booked a train ticket from Padova to Venezia S. Lucia, a regional train and was planning to take a bus from that train station to the airport. I'm realizing as I travel that this isn't the way to go. Is there a way to catch a bus straight to Marco Polo from Padua? Is that a reasonable thing to do with luggage (one carry-on and one personal bag)?
This is super easy! There are quite a few busses, perhaps hourly? and it was 45min to an hour. Makes only a couple stops. Drops you right at the airport doors. The bus station is directly in front on Paris’s train station. It’s well used, so I would get a ticket ahead of time. You’ll see quite a few folks with luggage, big bags will go under the bus.
FANTASTIC! That sounds wonderful! And just double checking "Padua" not "Paris," right?
Wanting to follow up with a big "THANK YOU" for the reply - and additional info in case anyone else is wondering about this. I'm really happy to be taking the bus, which means no transfers at all. If I had taken the train (no matter which type of train), I would have had to transfer to a bus at some point. I got a bus ticket for less than 10 euros. I always think "train" with travel between cities, but sometimes "bus" can be a much better choice! Thanks again!
