Is it possible to go direct from Naples to Siena by bus?

I know that you can get from the major bus area at Rome's Tiburtina train station to Siena on the SENA bus (www.sena.it) but I'm betting that you can't do it directly from Naples. Even if you could get a bus out of Naples, you would most likely change buses in Rome.

If you want the bus out of Rome, you take the train to Rome Termini from Naples and then get on the underground Metro B and go 4 stops to the Tiburtina stop. The major bus stops are outside.

Thanks for your advice. I'm trying to figure out how to get to Siena from Positano without losing too much time in travel.

By SITA bus and Circumvesuviana train to Naples, it will take overall about 2hrs before you board a train to Siena (should you choose the train). It will then take about 6.0hrs to get from Naples to Siena on the Trenitalia train with a train change in Chiusi or a change to a bus in Florence. About 8-9hrs overall. Not easy from the remote, but stunning, area of Positano.

There is a bus from Sorrento to Rome Tiburtina that could save up to an hour. At Tiburtina, you would change bus companies to the SENA bus. Overall, it could be less expensive and could save up to an hour. The downside is thaat the bus from Sorrento isn't that frequent.
