Hi. Does anyone know of a bus line going from Catania to Sciacca? I'm having trouble searching online and Google does not translate everything. Thank you.
Hi Catmat,
Just wondering, do you plan to visit Agrigento?
If so, you could take the SaisTransporti bus from Catania to Agrigento, spend a couple of nights there to visit the Valley of the Temples, then you can take the Lumia bus (from Agrigento) to Sciacca.
I didn't visit Sciacca, however, the Lumia bus stopped there on my way to Agrigento (from Trapani).
Another option (if you've not booked your flights yet) would be to fly to Palermo. You can then take a train from Palermo Centrale to Agrigento Centrale, then the Lumia bus to Sciacca.
You can check train schedules on Trenitalia.com

Enjoy your time in beautiful Sicilia!
Edited to add... Let me know if you want a recommendation for a place to stay in Agrigento.
Thank you Priscilla. I only have one extra day before flying out of Palermo so I wanted to stop in Sciacca before heading home.
Catmat.
When is your trip?
What's your itinerary?
I spent a few weeks in Sicily this May and truly enjoyed my time there.
Enjoy!
I'm taking the RS tour in March/April 2019 and I added one extra day on my own to see Sciacca since it's not part of the itinerary. Thanks.
It looks like you'll need two buses: SAIS Trasporti from Aeroporto Catania to Agrigento, and then Autolinee Lumia from Agrigento to Sciacca.

Thanks, catmat, for posting this question; I am planning a solo trip around Sicily for spring 2019 and the information that you are receiving is helpful to me, too! Priscilla, if you are still reading this thread, would you mind sharing where you stayed in Agrigento and what you thought of it? Thank you!
