Bus discount in Venice

I am staying just outside of Venice, 10-15 minutes, and catching the bus each day to go there. Is there like a 3 day pass or something so I don't have to pay each day? Thanks.

From the ACTV official website - TOURIST TRAVEL CARDS The Travel Cards are the most economical solution for people who want to get around Venice and its surroundings on Actv's land and water services. They allow unlimited travel and can be used on all the services - both waterborne (except those of routes Alilaguna, and Actv routes no. 16, 19, 21 and Casinò) and on land - that provide urban services within the municipality ("Comune") of Venice (land services on the Lido and in Mestre except land-bus routes for journeys having Venice Marco Polo Airport as departure or arrival point )........ 18,00 € - 12-HOUR TRAVELCARD 20,00 € - 24-HOUR TRAVELCARD 25,00 € - 36-HOUR TRAVELCARD 30,00 € - 48-HOUR TRAVELCARD 35,00 € - 72-HOUR TRAVELCARD
50,00 € - 7 DAYS TRAVELCARD

Sammee, I got the 3-day card and it paid for itself by the second day. Be sure to validate it every time you use it (scan the card at the machine near boarding area).

Does it take me to at the outer islands, Murano, Burano, etc?

In the first answer you can see the routes which are not included. None of those are vaporettos in the normal tourist areas of Venice and the near lagoon. You can easily reach Murano, Burano, Torcello and the cemetery island of San Michele by normal vaporetto.
