We are flying into Malpensa on September 20 and just saw there is a train and bus strike that day. We were planning to take one of the buses to Centrale near our hotel. Does anyone know if those bus companies are private and will be running that day? Otherwise I guess we will have to take a taxi. Can we use our credit card to pay for the taxi!

Even if the Malpensa Express— the public train that runs between MXP Airport and Milano Centrale train station— is targeted by the strike, buses will be brought in to replace the trains.
Terravision It, a private bus company which is unaffected by public transportation strikes, has buses running from MXP Airport’s Terminal 2 to Milano Centrale for €10.
