Bus 40 or 64 to Vatican from Pantheon?

From the Pantheon (Largo Argentina), which is the better bus to take to the entrance to the Vatican Museums? I have a reservation so I'm not concerned with where the line stretches to, but the actual museum entrance. I'm more inclined to take the 40 bus (faster, less crowded, less pickpockety) but I'm not sure if one is a much longer walk than the other. Thanks!!

Bus 40 will drop you off near Castel Sant'Angelo, while bus 64 will drop you off a block from St. Peter's Square. The walk from bus 40 stop would be 5-10 minutes longer.
