Has any one bought tickets to one of the soccer games while traveling aboard? I would love to surprise my husband but I'm not sure how I buy tickets to go.

In Madrid we got tickets. WE had a great time... it was a feast for the eyes! Beckham was supposed to play but (shock) he didn't. The nosebleeds we got were pricey but we didn't care. Oh, and don't whistle at the game. Whisting is like us booing here in the States. And remember their stadiums are not smoke free :(

IF you want the real experience, buy a team scarf (about 5-10 euros) for the home team and wave it above your head when they do something good. Also, NEVER NEVER NEVER cheer the road team in Europe. There is a reason why the few road supporters who go to games are surrounded by cops.
