Flying into Lin around 9pm and need clean budget hotel for family of 4 for an overnight before taking the train out the next morning. Any recommendations? Thanks.

I assume you want to stay near Linate itself for the night. Accor hotels has a nice Novotel near the airport which has rates as low as 79 Euro for 2 adults and 2 kids under 16 for Thurs-Sat nights. I think they may have a shuttle to the airport, but you can confirm by e-mail. See http://www.accorhotels.com/accorhotels/fichehotel/gb/nov/1137/fiche_hotel.shtml. It's also about 2 miles from the Rogoredo train station, where the metro will carry you on a direct run into Centrale railway station.
