Hi!
Doing the best of Sicily tour next year and looking to stay in cefalu for two nights prior.
Looking for budget friendly, a/c and close to the beach. A pool is an added bonus. Anyone have any suggestions?

The Victoria Palace and Astro Suite Hotel are both next to the beach with pools. We stayed in an AirBnB right next door and it was an amazing location. It was a 10 minute walk to the old town and across the street from the beach. They are about a 10 minute walk to the train station and there is also plenty of parking.

Scirocco was one of our favorite stays in Sicily. Budget friendly, great staff, beautiful rooftop terrace with sunset views (and byo snacks and wine!) and the delicious included breakfast. It has good AC but you have to walk up lots of stairs to get to it and there is no pool. The Cefalu beaches are among the best in Sicily though and the swimming is fine- so we did not miss having a pool.

I stayed 2 nights in Hotel Mediterraneo (in 2014) opposite the train station. It was fine for 2N and convenient to get from/to Palermo. The beach was a very short walk downhill. All of the town center was an easy walk as well. I booked through booking.com, which I use a lot for European travel.

We loved it and would absolutely stay there again. We prefer renting apartments so we can spread out a bit more plus we needed a parking space during that leg of our trip.
