Brunello Wine Drive/tour

Any recommendations of wineries on the Brunello wine Drive in Tuscany? They Do we have to make reservations in advance for the wineries or can we just pop in?

Ciacci Piccolomini d’Aragona is one we really enjoyed.

Great wine, great service (we ended up with a private tasting by sheer luck, only ones there on a weekday afternoon). Wine is reasonably priced for the quality and I wish I brought more home!

Definitely recommend reservations where you can - not only to make sure you can get in but sometimes the only way to visit certain wineries, also even if walk-ins are allowed we noticed that the people with reservations got more attention and maybe an extra glass of something special that the walk ins didn’t have.

Makes me want to go back again! Enjoy!
