Brunello Tours from Siena

Hello! I am trying to plan a tour on my honeymoon in June for wine tasting/tour from Siena for Montalcino/Brunello Wine. I have noticed there is a huge range of prices (from 80 US dollars to about 400) and many that do not list prices. Does anyone have any recommendations / is a $400 tour really better than an $80? I have noticed that some have a little more on their tours than others - we do not need a private tour, but would like to keep to a very small group (Im not usually a tour group person) Thank you for your feedback!

As with anything, you really do get what you pay for. We were extremely pleased with the tour we took with Tours by Roberto last May. It was group of three couples and he had an excellent variety of possible tours. He is very personable and knows a lot about local history, art, and winemaking. We're booking another tour with him this May. You can find inexpensive. but very touristy group tours. There is a group called My Tour that has brochures in all of the hotel lobbies. It was not that expensive, but you spend a lot of time on the bus to get to a few sites where you don't get that much time to look around. It was fun, but I wouldn't do that kind of tour again. Look for a company that does small group tours-- six to ten people.
