Brunelleschi in Florence

Over the last couple of years I have become fascinated by the work of Filippo Brunelleschi and I was wondering, if any are still in existence, if anyone knew of a residence of his in Florence. I am heading there in September and would love to see the dwellings where he lived. Thanks in advance,

Joe

As far as I know he was born in via Larga, now via Cavour, but the home is no more existing. He lived on the back of S. Gaetano church, in the area between via Tornabuoni and piazza della Repubblica, that was leveled in 19th century and rebuilt with modern (then) homes.

There is a statue of Brunelleschi on the left side of the Duomo. He is portrayed looking up at his dome.

There are some references to him having lived (when in Florence) and died in his mother's (Giuliana Spini) dowry house but no note of where that is/was so I'm guessing it's gone.
