Brenta Canal

The name is actually "Brenta"...

We did it out of Padova. There are two companies which do very similar trips. I should think you can find them by googling Brenta Canal boat trips. They alternate days going in each direction; i.e., one day Padova to Venice, the next Venice to Padova. We stopped at 3 Palladian villas, including La Malcontenta, which is fabulous. The guide was excellent. Had I to do it over, however, I think I might opt for the half day version. We had to be at the Padova bus station at 8:30 for the start of the trip. We were bussed back from Venice during rush hour, therefore arriving close to 7:00p.m. Quite a long day! Pm me if you have more questions.
