Breakfast in Florence

Who has a great breakfast in Florence? Not American, but Italian breakfast... Thanks!

As you probably already know, Italians don't seem to be into our idea of a great breakfast--very different breakfasts there. Hope you're not disappointed with what you find there in the way of breakfasts. Everything else about Florence is fantastic.

Kent's right - breakfast is very simple. What I did in Rome on my last visit was to find a coffee shop near my hotel where all the locals seemed to go and try that. I just went in and pretty much followed what everyone else did - ordered a coffee and a yummy fresh pastry. Nice to experience a bit of the local way of life.
