Breakfast Buffet in Venice and Capri

My wife has celiac disease - which means that she can't eat wheat in any form. We have found that staying at hotels with extensive breakfast buffets makes our travel much easier and gets the day off to a good start. One problem for us in choosing where to stay is that some hotels will say 'breakfast buffet', but that means a choice of bread and pastries with coffee and orange juice. This won't work for us. In our case we'd like, at a minimum, a choice of at least some sort of cold cut(s), cheese(s), and some fruit. Anything more would be a bonus. We are going to be in Venice and Capri in May/June this year for about 5 days each. If you know of places that fit this description for breakfast, we'd really like to hear about them.

Kevin,
For Venice try looking at Hotel Campiello. We were there a few years ago, and their buffet breakfast was extensive, including hard boiled eggs, cheese, ham and fresh fruit. It is in a great location. We were there off-season, so I don't know how expensive it is in May/June. They also speak excellent English, so it would be worth emailing them and explaining your dietary needs. 5 days in Venice will be incredible. Have a wonderful trip!
