Breakfast and dinner suggestions bu Uffizi

Piazza Della Repubblica has some cafes serving American breakfast; I find the hotel buffet breakfasts more than adequate, even without bacon and eggs (some hotels offer them, some don't).

On the street immediately behind the Bargello (close to the Uffizi), you'll find The Diner. It serves pretty authentic American breakfasts, including such items as pancakes, at reasonable prices. It's run by the same people as Aqua al 2, which is within eyesight. They have indoor diner-style seating as well as some covered outside seating.
