Borghese Tickets Oct 24 thru rest of year are up now

The Borghese Gallery tickets finally appeared on line this morning, through their tosc website, should anyone be trying to purchase.

Edit for detail: Price of tickets went up 5E for the full priced non guided tour. Oct 24 is the start date of the Picaso statue exhibit.

Got mine this morning. Thanks to previous poster who gave a link that enabled me to generate a fiscal code since EE1 (seen on previous threads) did not work for me today. I also used the idea of clicking on PayPal for payment even though I don't have a PayPal account, and it took my credit card info just fine. I was given the option to pay in my currency at their conversion rate or use my bank rate and I chose to pay in Euro through my bank based on advice elsewhere on this forum. My thanks to all the previous posters on the topic of Borghese tickets.
Good luck everyone!

Is there a link for the fiscal code and the best place to buy tickets? This will be my first trip to Italy. Why is the Borghese a must-see?
Thanks!

Done and done! Thanks for the heads-up, ttmom12, and thanks to mtvaughn for the advice on a previous thread to use fiscal code EE1 and use Paypal for payment. Went beautifully for me.

Many thanks for the help with the fiscal code EE1 worked fine for me this morning, unfortunately my bank held things up asking for verification but finally got that resolved. This process was most frustrating re the fiscal code. Google searches indicated using your DL or passport numbers worked but that is not true. I would never have resolved this without your help.

Travel writer,

This is the official website linked from the Borghese Gallery website.

Hopefully this opens in English but if not scroll down the right side of the page to a small box that will let you opt Italian or English.

Here is the web site where you can generate a fiscal code if EE1 does not work for you. Thanks to Philip for posting this earlier this year. Also, for any of the tips you see on this thread you can use the search window at the top of the page and search a term like "fiscal code" or "official Borghese" and you will find lots of other discussions on this topic.

These are the hardest tickets to purchase! First was the wait for November tickets and then Capital One kept denying it and sending me emails to see if it was fraudulent. After a phone call and two people, they lifted the fraud but it still would not go through! Finally tried with Discover and got my tickets! I still got an e-mail checking if it was fraud but it went through! Yay! The final piece of my trip! I'm glad they are monitoring my account but was worried it would sell out before I got them after months of checking the website! I can't wait to go on this wonderful adventure! I am so grateful for the advice from everyone over the past year as I planned this trip!

What else is there to do in the area of the Borghese Gallery? This sounds like something to do but don't want to miss anything while I'm in that area. Thanks.

travel writer37, IMHO Galleria Borghese is really the jewel (!!!!) of Villa Borghese and it's at the far southeastern end of the park (reference a map).

We've enjoyed just walking the (very large!) park: a nice bit of breathing room from the crowds around the top attractions. Especially nice is the view from the Terrazza del Pincio, which is at the far western end above Piazza del Popolo. Bikes and pedal surreys are available for rent at different points in the park if wanting to explore on wheels.

Editing to add, Santa Maria del Popolo, on the piazza of the same name, is one of Rome's must-do churches if you're an art lover.
