It seems a Catch-22 situation. So if you wait until your arrival in Rome to buy your Roma Pass then you
can only make resers after you buy the pass, right?
You have to call to make the reservation if you intend to use Roma Pass.
Or see if your hotel in Rome will do that for you.
Are there 2 other locations you would use Roma Pass for? (rather than using 1 of the 2 free for Borghese)
If so- I'd probably just book and pay for the reservation online- it was pretty simple.
Either way- you will want to make your reservation well in advance.
You don't need to have the pass in hand to make any reservations. Just call and book the reservations you want and let them know you'll be using the pass for entry. They will make the reservations for you without any issues.
