Borghese Gallery Tickets

Buono Giorno, I'll be in Rome next week and I'd like to make advance reservatons for the Borghese Galleries. I've gone onto their website and made the attempt but I was confused by a seating chart. I'd just like to purchase tickets to the museum which doesn't have seats. Has anyone come across this problem before and does anyone have any suggestions on how to go about getting just tickets for the galleries? Because of the seating chart, I'm not sure if I'm in the right place or on the right page. Thanks so much for any suggestions! Carla

I think it's just the generic event booking software they're using on their website. A 'seat' just means a place, i.e. a ticket. Try going through the process and see what happens. You can always cancel out before giving your payment info.

Don't worry, the seat thing just means that you have an entry ticket, even though they say that you will get the best available seat. There are just a limited number of entries (seats) available.

Thank you so much for getting back to me! That makes sense but, it also has a visual of the seating chart. You know like you'd see if you were going to get tickets to a concert of something. Somehow I think I may well be on the correct page and the seating chart is for other kinds of special events. Like you said, just kind of general.

The Borghese Gallery site is part of a broader set of sites and they all use the same booking mechanism. Some probably involve seating, but don't worry about it in your case. I think you'll see it will be OK. Only read everything carefully before you commit the payment.

telephoning them works a charm. just remember that when it is 5pm on the left coast it is 2 am in Rome (9 hrs) and they only work business hours.
