Borghese Gallery Ticket Office Hours?

I have tried calling the ticket office to reserve my admission to the Borghese. I am calling at 14:45 pm Rome time on Friday and I get the message that the ticket office is now closed. The message goes on to say that the office is usually opened M - F from 9 am to 6 pm. Is anyone aware of reason why the office is closed today?

Today is a holiday in Rome: Saints Peter & Paul Day. I suspect the ticket office staff is off. The whole city is pretty quiet except for major tourist sites/areas.
