So i bought a ticket to the BG online and i received a couple e-mails from them and the closest thing to a ticket is a link to an invoice for the ticket, but nothing with a barcode. Do they just need the invoice for entry?

You need to go to the ticket counter with your voucher and they will give you a paper ticket.
I was there a couple of days ago and everyone had to check their bags, no matter how small.
It's a fantastic museum! I was so happy to be there.

It's been awhile since we've done it but I don't recall having a barcode on our vouchers. They should have reservation name, date and time on them, and you just print them out and bring them with you. Turn them in at the check-in desk when you arrive.

Just bring your confirmation email. You won't get tickets or a barcode in an email.

Be sure to get there about half an hour before your time slot as you will have to line up for a ticket and to check any bags. If you are traveling with a partner, one can stand in each line. Since you have a limited two hour visit, you don't want to waste it in the ticket line.
