I want to make reservations for the Borghese Gallery for June 26, but was told that I have to wait until May to make them. I wasn't given a specific date. Does anyone know exactly how far in advance reservations can be made? Thanks.
Like many things in Rome, it's something you just have to keep checking. Go to the website daily to see if they've added any dates. Right now they are booking through the end of May. I'm sure they'll open up dates for June soon but can't tell you exactly when. For dates in late June I would try the third week of May. Donna
If you are staying in a b&b or hotel, ask them to make the reservation for you.
I would call the Borghese and get the information directly from them. You can get the # to call on the Borghese website.
As of right now they are only making reservation through the end of May. They might just be really busy. Just keep checking the website for updates. Donna
Hi Chris,
I called the museum yesterday to make reservations for June 23rd and was told to call back at the end of May. A definite date was not given, so I'll contact them a week before the end and then keep on trying everyday. Thanks to Skype minutes it's really inexpensive to call Italy. Yvonne
Chris, Here is a link to the official booking site: http://www.ticketeria.it/ticketeria/borghese-regolamento-eng.asp# Just scroll to the bottom and click "OK NEXT" A pop up window will show all of the dates that are available for reservations. Scroll down to see the last date they're currently booking through. They weren't even booking past May 22nd until this past Tuesday, May 3rd.
Thanks everyone. I guess I just have to be patient (not my strong suit).
