Borghese Gallery question, please help! (have done some research)

I am attempting to make reservations for (4) to the Gallery on either Sept. 9, 10, or 11. I am trying to reserve tickets online from www.ticketeria.it and I was under the impression that you could reserve the tickets and pay later, but it looks from the steps I am taking that I have to pay now--which is fine, but how do I then get the discount if we are going to use the Roma Pass?

I have Rick Steves Best of Europe 2008, and while I am sure the info I need is in there, my husband has taken the book with him to a national forest fire, and there is no way for me to get the info from it until right before we leave.

Thanks in advance!

Hi Kendra,

You can't reserve online anymore, you can only purchase them through the website. If you are planning to use the Roma pass, you have to call and make a reservation. I emailed my hotel, and had them make the reservation for me. They did send me a confirmation by email. Good luck.

Kendra - don't give up! The Borghese is extraordinary. When we planned our trip, we made reservations for our five top sites at www.tickitaly.com, including the Borghese. We did have to pay ahead and a fee, but for us, we wanted to be certain that we had reservations so that we would not waste any time standing in long lines. And you have to have a reservation for the Borghese. Tickitaly sent, by e-mail, reservation vouchers that we presented at the sight. We got our tickets and walked right in. When I plan a trip, I'm happier when I have some of those details pinned down.

Kendra - Try e-mailing ticketeria and tell them what day and time you want a reservation for. Tell them you will be buying a Roma pass when you get to Italy and that you just want a reservation. It worked for me!
