Borghese Gallery Online Ticketing...anyone had problems?

Hey gang-

Anyone else had trouble completing a transaction with the Borghese Gallery Online ticketing? I went to Rick's recommended site http://www.galleriaborghese.it/borghese/en/edefault.htm I clicked Online Booking and created an account and everything seemed to go fine. Except that both my American Express and my MasterCard declined the transaction. I even have a MasterCard SecureCode since it is often required for making online European purchases from the US, but no help. I routinely purchase tickets for Swiss Rail, DeutscheBahn, and Trenitalia online from the US before traveling, so not sure if this is something with the Borghese site or its ticket issuer?

I purchased tickets on-line last July through the site listed below with no issues.

Thank you Jean! I just checked and that link leads to the same booking site that the Borghese website sent me to- TicketOne. I'll give it another try tomorrow- maybe just a glitch.

Dave: We've had trouble with several European companies/venues not taking our US Visa card, so we opened a Paypal account a couple of years ago. I used it just a week or so ago to book tickets to the Borghese. Might be worth signing up. You don't have to use it for anything else, but you will get a lot of annoying emails both from Paypal itself and scammers.
