Borghese Gallery - help! I'm so confused!

Will be in Rome in about a month. I know I need to reserve spots/times for the Borghese Gallery. However, we want to buy a Roma pass, which includes the Borghese. But not the time slot. How do I do this so I'm not paying twice for getting into the Borghese?

Here's another question while I'm at it. We're doing a guided tour for the Vatican, the Collisseum and the Forum. We're also paying for an "Angels and Demons" walking tour. Maybe we don't need the Roma pass since we are already paying for those things out of pocket. What do you guys think?

Leaving on Wednesday for our month in Italy - thanks to all who have helped me with planning questions along the way!

If you want to use the RomaPass for the Galleria Borghese, call them to make the reservation and tell them you will use the RomaPass for admission (you can do this without actually having the Pass in hand). But I would figure the cost of paying on your own. The RomaPass may not be cost-effective unless you use public transportation A LOT in the time you have.

Make sure admission is included in your tours, when deciding the value of the Pass.

And Roma Pass doesn't cover anything in Vatican City.

I called for a reservation at the Borghese Museum. I knew I would utilized "free entry"with Roma Pass. Pushed number for english speaking. Received a booking number that I guarded. Gave the booking number and Roma Pass to the no humor ticket taker and received entry pass. The Borghese staff was trying to block upstairs first for tour groups. They did let us and others up. Two hours was adequate time to return to rooms with pieces I wished to see again. I would like to suggest the Vatican Museum consider a limitation in the amount of wall to wall, elbow only individuals into the museum. Even the feet make noise in the Sistine Chapel. The Pinacoteca is worth it.
