Hi folks I'm in Italy now just beautiful cannot secure the online reservations for Borghese any thoughts on how to get tix for 5/4?

I'd consider calling. Also we had our hotel in Rome arrange tickets for us. Don't know if that works in your case.

I was there two months ago and used the phone number listed in Rick Steve's Rome guide book to make a reservation. They spoke English and it was easy enough. Although, there were many who showed up without reservations and were able to get in. Don't be late though. You only have two hours to see everything. Good luck!

The website still shows tickets for the 4th of May. If you cannot book them online just have the hotel call and make the booking for you. Donna

Carolyn, One note regarding the Borghese. Be prepared to check just about EVERYTHING you're carrying. They don't allow Purses, Backpacks, large Cameras, etc., and they're very strict about it. Enjoy your visit!

Carolyn, true you can't take much of anything into the gallery, but if you want to keep a couple of items with you, they will give you an opaque plastic bag (I usually keep wallet, meds, small bottle of water in it). The checkroom is always staffed, you'll get a receipt for your bag.
