Are you able to buy tickets for more one block of time - two hours doesn't seem long enough....

You can buy tickets for any time slot on any day that shows as having tickets available.
The museum is not large, however, and you shouldn't have an issue covering it in 2 hours. I recommend going immediately to the top floor and working your way down to the ground floor and the all-important Bernini sculptures.

I agree with Kate. The museum is small, and you can see it all at a leisurely pace in the two hours.
I’ve visited museums more than once on the same trip because they’re too much to see in one visit, but that’s not the case with the Borghese.
