We plan on purchasing a Roma Pass and use it for admission to the Borgese Gallery. We realize we must make a reservation and pay a reservation fee but when we go on line they want us to purchase tickets along with the reservation. How do we just make reservations without purchasing tickets so we can use the Roma pass for our admissions?
I also wanted to use the pass for the admission, so I just called to make my reservation. You present your pass when you arrive at the museum.
You need to call to make the reservation if you're going to use the romapass., There is no way to do it online. The call is fast and very easy. You can get the number off the Borghese website. Donna
Or have your hotel call for you. Send them an email with the date and time you want and save yourself the international call.
Whatever you do, be sure to pack a lunch and have a picnic and nap in the beautiful park at the Gallery...this was one of my favorite excursions!
A highlight of Italy for our 13 year old as we left the Borghese Gallery and wandered the park ("Villa"), was renting a 4-seat bike-surrey for E20 per hour. (It would have been fun for just my wife and I, also. The 2-seater is E15, I think.) It turns out the device is motor-assisted, and the motor kicks in when you're pedaling uphill! Really cool, and a nice way to see this very large park. It's kind of the Golden Gate Park of Rome, with lots of interesting things to see, in a relaxed sort of way. I highly recommend the bike-surrey! Dave
We had the hotel do it. Very easy.
