Booking Uffizi and Accademia with Firenzecard

Hey all!
I'm trying to book my reservations for Uffizi and Accademia and since I want to get the Firenze card, I have to call and reserve. So, I am trying to do that, call the number provided and go through the prompts for english, etc. Then it says you will be connected with an operator, but instead it hangs up on me! I double checked the operating hours and they should be open. Am I missing something? Do they close randomly/early sometimes?

Any help appreciated! Thanks!

Hi there, you can make your reservations online through the official b-ticket website. Just pick the free ticket option for the date and time of your choosing. You will have to pay the 4euro per person fee though, opposed to the free reservations through the operator. Just make sure you show up with your reservation and the Firenze Card. I've done it this way for years and it works fine. In fact, I'm in Florence now and did it today. Have a great trip!

I am actually online now booking my ticket to Uffizi. The website is https://www.uffizi.it/en/tickets Scroll down to
"Uffizi" and click buy tickets. Then you put in your date and select tickets. It will then give you the times available. Looks like you would pick your time and then also click the box that says "reduced and combo" and I am guessing you pick the one that says "free named" ? Maybe someone more experienced can help.

Also just as an fyi, if you just want to see Uffizi, Pitti palace and Bobili they have a pretty good deal for all 3 for 38 EUR and the pass is good for 5 days.

I have a question for the group so hopefully someone can answer. Is it best (less crowded) to go first thing at 8:15 or the last entrance at 7:45pm (19:45)?

Awesome! I was stressing out! I would rather go ahead and pay the extra 4 euro than wait and see if the phone line is going to work or not, at least I will have reserved my space! I wish they had put this option on the Firenze card website - they make it seem like you MUST call or show up in person. Are there any other places that I need to reserve ahead of time ? (besides the Duomo climb, I know that's not included in the Firenze card and my slot is already booked).
