Booking two tours back to back

Is it possible to book a ten day tour of Venice, Florence, and Rome, and at the end of that tour have booked a 13 day tour of Southern Italy within a a day or so? We have never booked a Rick Steve's Tour.

If you book a VFR Tour that ends on a Sunday and then book a Best of South Italy Tour that begins on a Monday, you’ll be golden. The only thing you might have to do is change hotels in Rome.

Others have done 2 tours in a row, but only you know if you are up to doing the tour schedule thing for that long.

We've only done one tour at a time, but have had others on our Rick Steves tours do back to back, but they usually give themselves a few days in between to catch their breath, and be on their own timetable for a couple of days. Personally, ending on one day and starting the next for the lengthy tours sounds like a long stretch; I'd want a couple of days to exhale in between.

That’s a nice combination of tours together! You will begin with the main large tourist destinations and also have some smaller, less busy cities during your second tour.

Venice is fantastic! Try to fly in a day or two early to begin the trip with no jet lag.

The nice part of combining those 2 tours, unless the itinerary has changed, is the first one ends in Rome and the second one starts in Rome so you don’t have to worry about additional travel and you get lots of time to absorb Rome. We’ve done back-to-back 3 years in a row.

I vote yes! I’ve done several back to backs and even did a back to back to back in a fit of pent up travel need, lol!

Have a wonderful time!

And yes, plan to arrive in Venice a few days early to allow for travel hiccups.

Just another reason to add even more decompression time at the end!

As others helpfully mentioned, those end and begin in the same place, but I often see people questioning how to get between tours (often in one day!) that have far-apart locations, so just do be sure you can find adequate transport between the tours (in case you select different ones, etc.). I would need a respite afterward.
