Hello, I had previously asked what is a good site for the Milan Last supper reservations and someone kindly offered tickitaly.com. In going on the site I noticed you are able to book tickets in advance for many things that I am interested in seeing such as the Vatican, the Colessuem (Underground tour), the Uffizi just to mention a few. Is it necessary to book all of these in advance? I am going to Italy from September 6th- September 22nd. If so, is this a very reliable site to book?

tickitaly is a ticket reseller. In Rome you can use official sites to book colosseum and Vatican museums tickets. This will save you a lot of money. For example, they want 26.50 for entry tickets into the Vatican museums where if you book yourself, online, they will cost you 20. For the colosseum they charge 18 euros but you can book yourself for 12 euros. Personally, I wouldn't pay an upcharge for something I can book myself for much less. http://biglietteriamusei.vatican.va/musei/tickets/do?action=booking http://www.coopculture.it/en/ticket.cfm?office=Colosseum&id=2 I can't help you with the Uffizi or the Last Supper but I'm sure there are official sites where you can get the best price. You might want to check out Trip Advisor for each of these cities to see if someone there can point you in the right direction. Donna

Great Thanks Donna, I tried going on the Vatican website but the dates are unavaliable for September and Tickitaly have them avaliable. Same with the last supper. Is i t necessary to book for the Vatican ahead of time?

Also, I can't figure out how to book the underground tour on the website you provided for Coleessuem bookings?

I just looked at the Vatican website. It shows that tickets are available for every day (closed Sundays) until the 12th. I think they just haven't started selling tickets yet your dates. Be patient and try back every few days.

Click on the buy single option, agree to the terms, choose a date ( click the small british flag to change this to English), then pick the underground tour option for the time that is best for you. Donna
