Booking tickets for the Accademia online

Hi! Im heading to Italy next month in July and I'm trying to reserve tickets for the Accademia. In RS book it suggests reserving online through this site www.firenzemusei.it. On this site is says the full listed ticket price is €8.00 with a booking charge of €4.00. once I click on buy tickets in says the price is €16.50? Reading just on the next page in the RS book is says the ticket price for the museum is €6.50, additional €4 for recommended reservation.

Can someone help me? Am I on the right site?

Yes, you're using the correct website.

The reason the price is €16,50 it's because there's a special art exhibit at the Accademia until October 11, 2015.

Just was there and the art exhibit is really great. We decided not to do the Uffuzi this time and it was great to have more than David to look at. The ticket pick up office is on the opposite side of the street from the entrance, and you still have to stand in a fairly long line even with pre bought tickets.

I arrived fifteen minutes before they opened and waited not even 15 minutes. I had reserved tickets for 9:15 and my sister had 9:45. We both were able to enter at the same time. I guess the wait depends on what time you arrived.
