booking night train from venice to vienna

Currently planning train travel after the end of a cruise which ends in Venice. would love some advice on easiest way to book a deluxe sleeper cabin with shower/toilet for my husband and I. have looked at several sites and it is difficult to tell exactly what your compartment includes. Any suggestions?

Overnight train trips are becoming fewer and fewer. And the train trip from Venice to Vienna is where you have to go by train, then by bus and back to a train. Another less direct route takes you through the Brenner Pass to Salzburg and east into Vienna. The shorter route is even farther than many people realize--and farther than I like to go on a train.
You might see what the airfares run on Austrian Airlines--the only flight in the region to Vienna.
