Booking flights on just fly.com

I'm looking into booking flights to return to Italy this summer. I've traveled there often and usually search for flights on Kayak, where one is usually linked directly to the airline's website to book the flights. We are leaving at the end of July and the best fares from here (Midwest) RT to Rome are @$1780 per ticket, a bit steeper than last time we went (two summers ago). A friend of ours (they will be traveling with us) found tickets for the same airlines and itinerary for much less, $1527 per ticket on a site called justfly.com. I had never heard of that website and couldn't believe the prices are $250 less than what I found on kayak. I'm assuming that we would purchase the tickets thru just fly rather than with American Airlines. That is always a concern in case flights are delayed, missed connections, etc. I'm just wondering if anyone has had experience booking through just fly.com and can vouch for buying plane tickets from them.

Try using Skyscanner.com. I've found it better than Kayak.

Justfly tends to use very long layovers for connecting flights. Before you use them be sure you examine the itinerary very careful so you're not spending 12+ hours inside an airport waiting for a flight.

Not sure where in the midwest you are, but flights are much cheaper from Toronto. I live in Pittsburgh, and the 4.5 hour drive is well worth the cheaper price for us.
