Booking Colosseum Tour thru CoopCulture Site

I'll be returning to Rome in May with some first timers and they want to see the Colosseum, and I want to 'skip the lines' and also see the Underground and Third Ring.
Some private tour operators are charging 70-100+ Euro for that, and if that's what I have to pay, then so be it.
However I heard about the CoopCulture site where I can book a full entrance ticket for 12E and then add an Underground and Third Ring tour for an additional 9E; for a total cost of 21 Euro.

My question is can I really book thru their site and for only 21 Euro skip the lines; AND get a group tour (25 people max) that includes Underground and Third Ring?
Thanks.

yes, you can. I booked this tour in August 2015. We had one of the first tours on a Saturday morning. There was a short line to get in through security and then we redeemed our online voucher for a tour sticker and waited at a numbered post for the tour to start. Although our tour was sold out, there were only about 12/14 people who participated and our tour guide was very good. Definitely a worth while experience.

Randy, I'm watching this thread with you! I like the idea of a small group tour, and the Coop Culture website is much more reasonable than the private tour companies.

Is the Coop Culture website the official ticketing website for the Colosseum?

Yes, Lauren.

And yes, Randy, you can book your tour (€ 9.00 + €2 reservation fee) + pre-purchase an entry ticket (€ 12 + €2 fee) for a total of €25.00. Or you can just book the tour and buy your € 12 (no €2 reservation fee) entry ticket at the reservation desk per instructions.

Your entry ticket is also good for the Palatine/Forum.

Editing to add: tickets become available of the third Monday of each month for booking slots the following month. For instance, for April dates, booking opens on March 20th.

Don't let the idea of "skip the lines" make you believe that there will be no lines. There will be - they will just be shorter. I did this in October - go to the person that stands at the end of the roped lines (they will stretch beyond where the rope lines start) show your ticket and make sure you get into the proper line (there were about 4 of them). I think we were in line for at least 20 to 30 minutes before we got to the scanners. Have fun, the tour is amazing.

Randy, the only line you will encounter is the security line but there is no way to avoid this. Just show the guard at the front of the lines your confirmation emails and they will put you in the proper aisle in order to check in for the tour.
