Has anyone ever booked an apartment in Florence for a longer stay (1 1/2 months) and if so, what agency or site did you use? I have seen apartments listed on "The Florentine", which is the English language newspaper in Florence and was wondering if anyone has booked through them. Thank you.

I haven't stayed that long (but OMG I want to!) but I have always had wonderful experiences renting through VRBO there and in Rome. You can expect a decent discount for the longer stay. Enjoy!

For one wk stays I have used Halldis and vrbo and was pleased with apts. I would think either Of these would have the option of longer stays.
