Hi there, I'm finding the Pompeii ticketing site to be quite difficult to understand. If my husband and I buy MyPompeii cards, can we book an entry time or is there a chance we show up and don't get into the park? Secondly, we have two children under 18, and it looks like there is no way to purchase this type of card for them. Will we need to stand in the long line to get them tickets, or can they come to the same skip-the-line queue that we do as MyPompeii card holders? Thanks!
is there a chance we show up and don't get into the park?
Close to zero chance. Not even sure you need to book timed entry. What date?
Under 25 yo ticket is 10 euros
You need to register on viva ticket to purchase

You will all go thru security line- nobody skips that.
Question? Are you purchasing the card because you intend to visit the scavi + related sites multiple times? That's really what an annual pass such as that one is intended for. As well, the under-25 card wouldn't apply to your under-18 teens as they're entitled to free entry.
The 18-24 reduced card applies only to young citizens of the EU and I'm guessing yours are not, although because they're under 18 it's a moot point.
?????
If you have a MyPompeii card then you have unlimited access to the Pompeii sites, you aren't limited to timed entries (with a regular ticket, you need to book either the 9am-1pm or 1pm-530pm entry windows). There is no realistic possibility of being denied entry. It's even unlikely that anyone gets turned away at all, unless maybe on a free entry day.
Right now you can only "pre-order" your MyPompeii card, you still need to collect it in person since their switch to the new provider (VivoTicket) hasn't been fully rolled out. You'll need to stand in a ticket queue anyway, so get the kids' free tickets when you pick up your MyPompeii cards at one of the three entrances. Personally, I'd doubt whether or not it's worth it compared to just buying the tickets online
We’re arriving in Pompeii on a 5pm train on day 1 and were hoping to go straight there after leaving our luggage at the train station lockers. Then we want to visit the Stabiae and Oplontis sites by shuttle bus on the morning of day 2, and the main archeological site in the afternoon. On day 3, we want to visit the Boscoreale site by shuffle bus in the morning and the main archeological site in the afternoon. Late that day we take a train to the next city. Is this itinerary feasible with this pass?
So you're planning on visiting Pompeii scavi over 3 separate afternoons? I'm a bit curious about when this trip is scheduled? There's little shade and afternoon heat can be beastly, especially in summer ( we were there in early October and it was PLENTY warm.)
