I booked two tickets for the Colosseum today, but my visit date is in January 2016. The tickets are nonrefundable, and I cannot change the dates on it since their policy is that the tickets purchased this year must be used by Dec. 31, 2015. I should've read the instruction carefully before proceeding, regrets, regrets and regrets.
update: I have been informed that the tickets are valid in Jan.!

The tickets are non-refundable and non-changeable but I would email then to see if they can do anything. If you chose the print at home option this may not be possible.

I wouldn't count on them being able to do anything but it's worth a try. As for tickets for next year, just wait until January 1 to buy them. They aren't time or date specific so you could even buy them the morning of your visit if you wanted to.

seaio, glad you will be able to use your tickets. I saw the line today, it was very short, almost no wait, but they are checking handbags as well as other items (and by checking I mean looking inside).
The police and army outnumber the "gladiators".
Inietschze, I'm sure seaio wouldn't have a problem giving you the tickets if they weren't valid for the dates He/She will be there but
seaio has been informed that the tickets will be valid for their visit. If you want tickets all you need to do is visit the official website and buy them. They never sell out so you can easily purchase your own.
