Can someone tell me how one gets from Bolzano to St Moritz? It appears that one starts out by rail and then, at some point, switches to bus. Where can I find timetables for the appropriate transport modes? Most appreciated. George

The Swiss rail site, www.rail.ch, will show you the route and connections. If you put in Bolzano to start and St. Moritz to finish, it will route you through Innsbruck and Chur, or Chiasso and Colico, which is a longer route (8 to 9 hours). If you divide it into 2 sections, you get this route: Bolzano to Scuol (in the Engadine), vial Merano and Malles (by bus), then Scuol to St. Moritz by train (usually with a change in Samadan). Bolzano to Scuol is 4 hours; from there to St. Moritz 1 hour 24 minutes.
