Which places should we stop and see and spend a little time in or our way from Bolzano to Prato Allo Stelvio? We just have the day as we drive down to spend the night below Prato. We will plan to go check out Gorenza (Glurns) as someone suggested. Other suggestions of things we don't want to miss?

Hi there - If you want to visit an amazing castle, consider touring Churburg / Castel Coira (https://www.churburg.com/), which is located above the village of Sluderno. The castle itself is remarkable and the views of the valley from its perch are stunning. The castle also holds the world's largest private collection of medieval arms. Another fascinating sight in the region is Lago di Resia and the sunken bell tower of Curon. If you have time consider walking around the lake. Kate, I looked up the castle and the sunken bell tower and those sound like something we would like to see. Thank you for your suggestions. I have added it to my list!
