Are the places listed in Rick's book already full, too expensive, or otherwise not good? Just trying to figure out what you are looking for.

Are you driving or going by train?

Hotel Hanny is highly rated on Tripadvisor and no one complains about small rooms. It is a bit if distance from the center, like a mile, so best with a car.

A few years ago we stayed at the Hotel Alpi. At the time it was a Best Western but I don't know if it is now. There was a very good rate for advanced booking and it is close to both the train and bus stations.
