I was hoping to catch a night train from Bologna to Molise but from what we see, night trains are from country to country and not from city to city. Such a long distance from Bologna to Campobasso... does anyone know how we might get there as quickly as possible?

Night train has nothing to do with city to city or country to country. Its just that there are no night trains going there.

Thanks Sam. We actually found a train from Bologna to Foggia where we can rent a car and drive into Campobasso ourselves. The train we found says it’s just about 4.5 hours of travel. Down the eastern coast of the peninsula.
