Bologna: someone to drive us for a day of cheese and car touring

I’m working on some time in Bologna next fall. I have seen the full-day food tours that are recommended here and I have seen the full-day car tours. Neither one is exactly what I’m looking for although they both look fun.

I was trying to piece together a single day that is a little bit of food - just cheese making in Parma - and some cars - the two Ferrari museums and the Lamborghini factory tour.

I am trying to find a private driver for this. Does anyone have a referral?

I have followed many threads on this site about Bologna, trying to find someone. I did reach out to emiliaromangna tours, and somehow received a reply from italygate.com. They can do that tour I describe but quote 1405 Euros for the day.

We’re a group of either 2 or maybe 4 so that’s pretty pricey.

@Tammy - LOL, ok, 4 people! Didn’t want to commit you since you hadn’t seen the pricing I was getting;)

If you look for "NCC Bologna" you can find several car with drivers. NCC means car-with-driver in Italian.
About costs, even without a travel agency won't be a cheaper day. A NCC should ask around 500€. Full day guide around 300€. 80€ per person for the Lamborghini factory tour plus 30€ per person for the Ferrari tickets. Are 1240€.
Plus 20€ per person for the dairy visit and tasting! That tour operators hasn't added a great surcharge on that cost.
